Most freight companies treat their customers as if they are just an account number, but not Diversified Transportation. At SMW Systems we rely heavily on Diversified because you provide extraordinary personal service that meets our requirements.
For example, we recently had a shipment that was late, plus the project was plagued with cost overruns. I called Jerry Rocha, our account representative, and told him of our predicament. Jerry responded by saying, " Give me a few minutes and I'll see what I can do." Fifteen minutes later he called back with the good news that he could pickup the 800lb. skid on Friday and have it at the customer on Monday and the price was comparable to a ground freight price.
This is typical of the great service that Diversified provides us. We have found that partnering with Diversified is better than having a transportation expert within our own company, and they have always come through for us when need it.

There is an old saying that states, “ All good things must come to an end”. In the case of Amada Machine Tools America, Inc. it is a very true statement. At least so far as the La Mirada Warehouse location is concerned.
I want to take time to say to Marc, Robby & everyone else at Diversified that it has been a “Great Ride”. The ride for me is, unfortunately, coming to an end. I will officially be retired by June 18th.
Marc & Robby, my hat goes off to you two for being able to assemble and maintain a great staff. Some of the people that I dealt with in the early years have gone on to different things either within the company or elsewhere. Melissa Recary, Yvette Velasco and Rachel Delgado are three who come to mind. There are many people that are still there and doing an excellent job. Lydia, Christine, Delvin, Don, Tami, Sherri, Paula, Loretta, both of the Angels. Too many to name. I want to complement everyone at DTS regarding the fact that your main thought was to “Always Give The Best Customer Service Possible”.
I have never talked to anyone within DTS that took a “That’s not my job” attitude. It was the DTS people’s attitude combined with the great customer service that made it a pleasure to do business with you over the years. I have passed all of this along to my boss, Rod Milliken (who, it appears is making the move to Illinois) and the other new staff at Amada Machine Tools America. I am sure they will be as pleased and happy with your services as I have been.
